The Pick 6 bet will stay until there is no more racing.

This morning on the Stein's show, he said it's a dying bet, I don't believe it, especially here in California. It's to good , If they can hold on to a Qu for all these years. I see no reason to abandoned the bet.

It's still a money maker and the bonus money coming out of SA , is probably coming from the marketing budget. (just watch how many times they pay it out, maybe 5 if they are lucky.) To many restrictions.

Do you see it ever coming to an end, IMO Never. So don't worry pick 6 players, he will be here when we are all dead and a new generation of players come on board.

This from the California Marketing Committee:

"Since the introduction of the low takeout pick 5 in April 2011, the pick six pools for the Southern California racetracks have been decreasing at a alarming rate. For example, Hollywood Park's pick six pools are down 28%, and Del Mar's pick six pools are down 25%. Given that for decades the Southern Callifornia Pick Six, with its large pools and huge carryovers, has been considered the national pick six, these trends are very damaging to overall handle and purses.

Nice carryover at the Great Race Place today.

So the P6 could see a revival if maybe they just lower the take-out?
Thank God for the Federal Reserve. You can't have big government or big wars without them.
