you may recall that i gave archarcharch out 2 months before he ever ran his 1st race of his career
then he won the southwest stakes @$31.00, then won the arkansas derby at $51.00
or how about spotsgone who won and paid $189.00, and got beat a nose at 90to1 in the derby trial
or you may remember canadian frontier who popped twice in a row paying $40.00+ both times
or how about my own horse who won and paid $40.00
the list is to long to remember but thier are many more

Who could forget Spotsgone every time he ran at Oaklawn or the time he popped at $100+ at Arlington Park. I oughta remember, I got burned by him enough despite CK's warnings... :lol:

I think everyone has been burned not putting in the extra horse, That's one of the main reasons the Pick 5 is a success, most players can afford to put in the extra horse without breaking the camel back.

On the Pick 6, the average player can't

the last time spotsgone ran i didnt bet him, i figured he just didnt have anything left after 3 or 4 bad performances, whats he do? runs a bang up 2nd beat a head and pays $29.00 to place

The oldtimers here remember you touting Aly's Alley like a crazy man before the 1998 Breeder's Cup juvenile, and he finished 2nd by a head at 90-1..

i feel old. that was one of my worst beats ever, he wins i cash $100k+ i did have the exacta for $2k
