John Perrotta

Bio: Executive Producer John Perrotta has managed Due Process Stable, Star Stable and was Vice President of North American Operations for Magna Entertainment Corp., overseeing the management of 14 thoroughbred racetracks. A former president of the Thoroughbred Breeders Association of New Jersey, he has been responsible for the breeding of many successful horses, including two-time champion filly Open Mind, 1997 Belmont Stakes winner Touch Gold and two-time New Jersey champion War's Prospect. In addition to having run breeding and training farms in Kentucky, Florida and New Jersey, Perrotta has also bought and sold horses privately and at public auction. His 1984 Due Process Stable sale of the mare Itsintheair in foal to Seattle Slew for $4.6 million set a then record at the Keeneland November mixed sale auction. He managed the career of two-time North American leading stallion Deputy Minister and has raced thoroughbreds at nearly every track in the U.S., as well as in Ireland and England.

Coincidentally, he bred a horse in the first race on Saturday, a race Stevens has a mount on a filly named Branded...

Anyone that invested in ITB stock might hate him.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_E._Brennan

International Thoroughbred Breeders, Inc., a publicly held company founded and chaired by Brennan, financed the reconstruction of Garden State Park race track in Cherry Hill, New Jersey after it was taken out by a 1977 fire. The grandstand reopened in 1985, closed in 2001, was demolished, and the property redeveloped. Brennan also owned and raced Thoroughbreds under the name Due Process Stable. The best known of his horses were Eclipse Award winners Deputy Minister and his son Dehere, who was bred by Brennan. [3]

Brennan also built and owned the prestigious Due Process Stable Golf Club in Colts Neck Township, New Jersey, where he lived until his arrest in 2001.[6]

In 2001 Brennan was found guilty of money-laundering and bankruptcy fraud and sentenced to a prison term of nine years and two months. [1] On appeal, in 2003 the sentence was upheld. Brennan served part of his sentence at the US Bureau of Prison's Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey. He was released on January 14, 2011 from Fort Dix and was sent to another less harsh prison until July which is when he was let out.[4]
