If you watch her hands, legs, posture...she was standing up, changing positions, constantly grabbling the reigns and jerking them around. Whether she got caught or not was not even the point, the point is she should not be allowed to ride again until she learns a lot more. This was a simple race where she made the lead, can you imagine her riding 6 1/2 furlongs down the hill. She is dangerous.

She shouldn't be starting out riding on this circuit in my opinion. She is dangerous and someone could get killed riding out
there against her. I bet the riders would rather race against a loose horse who unseated his rider than her erratic riding.

She was definitely riding scared, constantly checking over her shoulder. Probably would have won it with even a tiny bit of encouragement down the stretch.

The horse is now on my watch list...if she's got a different rider next out, watch out!

For 10 lbs. No matter what the fans think about weight, trainers think it means a lot.
Thank God for the Federal Reserve. You can't have big government or big wars without them.

This race appeared absolutely lifeless on paper and it played out the same way as favored CALIFORNIA ROLL was never running at any point, but got up in the final strides under Maldonado to nail TIZ LONELY. The Bob and John filly tracked the slow early pace, was outrun a bit leaving the backside, appeared to be going up and down around the far turn, three-deep into the stretch, never really leveled out but was able to catch the runner-up in the final strides. They went the final furlong in nearly 14 seconds, terrible rating, it is highly unlikely this race will prove at all productive. TIZ LOVELY would have won under any other jock in the room (maybe the country), however Biancone used exercise rider/ten pound apprentice Casandra Branick, and it cost him the win. The Tiznow filly stalked early then moved up to vie on the pace inside nearing the half-mile pole, took a short advantage leaving the backside, drifted out with the lead leaving the far turn, kicked away in the stretch, Branick unsuccessfully reached for her whip a couple of times passing midstretch, finally grabbed it but was barely able to hit her mount, drifted out while hanging on for dear life the final furlong, struggled to hand ride while flopping around like a wet fish in the saddle the final part, tried to will her horse to the wire late, nailed on the money, well clear of the rest. This was the worst ride since Jordan Springer aboard Enginesixtynine at Del Mar back on August 28, 2009. LOVELY SOPHIA prompted three-deep early then stalked the slow splits down the backside, chased the leader in the lane, angled to the rail near deep stretch, distant third. PROPER DATE broke in and annihilated MISS BELLWOOD at the break, raced midpack inside, came out into the lane, outrun. PERSIAN KITTY broke out at the start, lacked speed widest down the backside, three-wide around the far turn and into the drive, no impact. VONN NEZ trailed down the backside and around the far turn, came out three-deep nearing the stretch, passed a couple while never a factor. TRULY A MIST raced off the pace inside, was getting out badly and nearly went down off heels nearing the stretch, well beaten. SHIMMERING STAR broke well to lead early, dueled passing the half-mile pole, prompted outside the runner-up leaving the backside, outrun around the far turn, weakened badly the final quarter-mile. Midget MONARCHA BLANCA had no zip between horses early, found the rail into and around the far turn, never progressed. MISS BELLWOOD broke slowly and was bumped hard by PROPER DATE at the start, pulled hard to rush up between horses and move closer leaving the chute, had to check off heels passing the half-mile pole, dropped back around the far turn, drifted out four-wide while very tired into the stretch, well beaten. WARRENS UPTOWNGIRL was restless in the gate, far back throughout, poor effort.
1. CALIFORNIA ROLL 73 s 7. TRULY A MIST 51 s
2. TIZ LOVELY 72 s (+) 8. SHIMMERING STAR 50 s
3. LOVELY SOPHIA 63 s 9. MONARCHA BLANCA 48 s
4. PROPER DATE 55 s 10. MISS BELLWOOD 45 s (+)
5. PERSIAN KITTEN 54 s 11. WARRENS UPTOWNGIRL 44 s
6. VONN NEZ 51 s

CB did you really need to put the dig in that it was the worst ride since Jordan Springer at DM ? Seems like a cheap shot to me.

Seems a bit ironic to me Boxx that you time and again SCREAM at people it's a HORSE race, IT'S A HORSE RACE then vilify this girl for being a lousy jockey.
