It takes years to fine tune a call, Vic knows this, I hate to say this, but TD calls are old fashion and the new crowd like action during the race.
We must modernize to keep up. Las Vegas taught me that.
The crowed in their 20's , 30's and 40's want action. Take a look at the reality shows on TV, they all crater to the age group.

Lester do me a favor as your supporter. Stop kissing up to Vic. Vic is in the top 2% here that can't loveing stand you . If there was a statue of you in Bagdad next to the one of Saddam he would be on a one man mission to the tear loveer from the foundation before Saddam's. Now as to Trevor. No one young or old thinks someone else would be a better choice. Trevor is outstanding . It's like a Dodger fan who wants Vin to retire. Trevor becomes the products and give the track class and grace. Trevor is also an outstanding first class human being.

That's a bit extreme. I'd just like him to take a two year hiatus, then leave.

What is with the hard on for Wrona, dude sounds like he is choking at times, hard to understand and VERY OVERRATED!!!! There is a reason he calls at Golden Gate and hasn’t got a job in big leagues. I used to despise Stauffer, but he has grown on me, I like the enthusiasm he brings to the calls, and most of all I like that I can understand his native English non-accent. Between the guy at Churchill, Wrona, and Trevor, I’ve grown tired of the of foreign race callers. For my money, Durkin, Kurt Becker, and Stauffer are the ones I like to hear when I hit a winner, even Collmus is ok at times, but it’s the same call, time after time, Lies is as boring as they come. Hell, I’d take Tony Calo over Wrona any day….Even Ed Burgart…..

Well different strokes for different folks. You know I like the greats of all time Secretariat, Man O War and Seattle Slew. On the other hand you seem to like a horse that won a stakes race at Los Al Load Table. So I feel your point.

I like him because I made a killing off him and retired him to my ranch, not because of any announcer, but because I felt the need to take care of him because he took care of me so many times. My wife rides him 4 days a week and we take care of him like the king that he is to us, so to me he is right up there with Secretariat, Man O War and Seattle Slew and any all time great you might want to mention. You can dis my post but don't dis my my boy!!!

My family and I have rescued a number of horses. We have always been horse people. My sister constantly looks through the auctions here in California with an a group of people that go in and save these animals and these are animals that have been abused and sick. I constantly contribute money. So concentrate on being insulted by Lester and while I commend your efforts none of the horses that we have rescued have made us any money.
