Anyone who knows anything about horse racing, what one saw in today's first race at Golden Gate was a travesty and yet another example of the horsemen pulling one over on the fans.
The beginning of the race looks to be running true to form, with the 4/5 favorite going to the front as the lone speed. Right after, she clicks down to 1/5, after the 1/4 was posted in :23 4/5 in the 6 furlong race. So what happens next, as the field turns for home, some of the other horses are getting closer, and what does the jockey do?
Pull his horse up and ends up finishing DFL at 1/5. And the kicker was, the order of finish was the inverse of the odds (20/1 winner, 14/1 second, etc.).
Believe, me on, this, the jockey either fixed the race or rode him like a real jerk.
The "stewart's" should be calling an investigation into this travesty.
As I have always said, if it is bet, they will take it, and it didn't ring more true than in Golden Gate's 1st race.
Take my advise and do what you please
Just saw the results, what a pile of S...
As you notice, 12-1 morning line.
What a stiff job!
Looks like the GG Horsemen wanted to buy Dom Perignon for New Years Eve..I guess Moet just wasn't good enough. ..

The days of Ron Warren, Ron Hansen, Bobby Gonzalez, Gary Boulanger, Tom Chapman, and Rafael Meza are long past us.
The collection of "jockeys" today in NoCal are the WORST the area has EVER seen. Outside of Baze, none of them can ride out of an electric pencil-sharpener.

This was the quinessential horsemen's race.
Mr. Super Bowl
If it is bet, they will take it.
That was the last race I'll ever play at any track, anywhere, believe, me, on this,
figuratively had my last $20 to place and $20 to show on Mohanna Breeze.
My horse went from 4/5 to 1/5 while they were racing which made me think a ton of "smart money" came in on him and he'd win for fun.
Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.
Avatar: My cuzin Isaac Murphy - a jock I'm tying to emulate in character and winning percentage - almost 47% lifetime.
