By the way, the 11 horse in the 3rd race looks like she's got the goods today. Any horse with the letter "V" in her name, along with the fact the trainer has two "V,s" in his name not to mention, the number 11, has a "V" makes the horse nearly unbeatable.
They're not dramatically different. Wet fast can never happen unless the track is sealed. A process called floating, which is kinda like squeegeeing the excess water off what is already a very tight packed down surface makes a very quick track that does have moisture in it. Sloppy is similar with two exceptions. There was so much rain before the floating there is still standing muddy/murky water above he sealed surface. It hasn't leaked into the seal yet ( that would be a muddy track ) but certainly isn't all gone. It can also get sloppy quickly of course if it rains intensely "during" the warmup and actual race.
