Hilarious isn't it? A potential superstar who could be worth millions of dollars who many on this forum bet at huge odds in the future book may be injured. I can't stop laughing.
Also, I thought stewards can't bet?

Correct. Stewards can't bet.

i wouldnt be worried if i had that horse right now unless you know he has something bad wrong with him. they all get hurt, every single horse to some degree gets hurt.

You remind me of THAT GUY that doesn't bet, roots for your team or horse to lose, and talks about what a sharp bettor he would be if he was allowed to gamble.

Couldn't have been directed at you. I've seen your betting! 'Damn the torpedoes, full steam ahead!'
Thank God for the Federal Reserve. You can't have big government or big wars without them.

my point was that just because a horse has a setback in december doesnt mean he wont win the triple crown come summer. as my derby horse runs by him on the 1st saturday in may.
will the announcer say he's had enough talking about the horse hes had enough runs by? that will be confusing. when the annoucer says hes had enough will everyone think the horse in front is quitting? of will they realize hes just getting warmed up?

Horse racing is about having a myriad of differing opinions. Almost everyone backs that opinion with $$. Including me for many years. I now work in a position where the $$ part is prohibited. However, I'm still a fan and wanted to share my Derby take with you guys. End of story.
