Aqueduct is a dump

Lemme ask you this? Have you ever been to a track outside of California?

The clock is ticking on Aqueduct staying open for racing, I just cannot remember the racing being this bad in NY during the winter and this is with slot purses. I give it 2-3 years before Genting gets the opportunity to expand its gaming facilities and eliminate the track completely.

Joel, I have never been to a racetrack with a better backside than Belmont...It is horse heaven...The stalls are huge, there is grass everywhere for the horses to munch on, it is beautiful...I am not crazy about the paddock area, I think they could do more with it and the grandstand is ok... I would hardly call Belmont a "dump', especially the barn area

Well, I don't hang around the backside, like you do.

But when I visited, the front side was figuratively a dump. ie. there was trash piled up EVERYWHERE..

That is very surprising, I wonder if it was an aberration???Everytime I have been there it has been a first class facility...

I have been to Toga and still by far my favorite track outside of Cali is Arlington. The place is spotless.

The only other track I've been to outside of CA is Calder. I still have other tracks I want to go to but I haven't had the time and going on a plane somewhere is so expensive.

Oh I went to Calder over the Summer like several summers ago. Before they built the Casinos. I liked it there it's a nice place but I want to go to a major track outside of SA, Hol or DMR.

saratoga has great racing but in the heat of summer with no air conditioning its a miserable experience.

Not sure if it's the same Calder I've attended many times. The area around Calder makes Inglewood look like Beverly Hills. Calder is a lovehole and their backstretch area reminds me of the prison camps under the freeway at the beginning of the movie Scarface.

every day on the backside of calder a cuban stabs another cuban unless a hatain does it for him.
right next door to calder is an apartment complex known as viet nam. not because people from there live there
but because its a war zone.
