Del Mar has their act together, superior management, great racing, great location, and most important , they cater to the customer concerns.

Now , I know Fredo has been to a lot of tracks, so has DX, & Vince P,

Now the big question, what major problems due you see at other tracks that can take a lesson from Del Mar

At least Del Mar tells it like it is.

A lot of guests will be looking at this thread.

again, Now, please think before you comment.

They cater to the customers concerns????? 8 bucks for a cup a beer does not cater to my concerns, for crissakes!!!!! 10 bucks for parking does not cater to my concerns for pete's sake!!!!

Del Mar tells it like it is?????? They could have at least had the good intentions to tell me like it is, and put up a big sign along Jimmy Durante Avenue warning me, well in advance, that:

If one wants to play the horses here in a state of inebriation, it may behoove one to get started at 10 a.m. at a local pub along the PCH, where a pitcher, of one's favorite brew, might cost one 6 bucks because once inside one won't be able to drink themself drunk on 8 bucks a cup. Cause that's what we charge here, sports fans. .

Bart,

1. Go to liquor store.
2. Buy a bottle of jack.
3. Fill two flasks. Stuff in your pocket.
4. Enjoy with a $5 coke.
5. Problem solved.

I used to think Del Mar was great but my interest has diminished since they went to poly track. The cost of food and beverage is horrible not to mention parking. Smokers have been banished to the outback. Then there is their exclusive with TVG. But most of all they have allowed Lester to ruin the forum which is unforgivable.

Yeccch, I can't stand the taste of any kind of liquor. Besides coke has too much sugar or corn syrup.

No, there is nothing so fine in the world as standing at the teller's window with an ice cold, reasonably priced, cold brew in one hand, and 2 dollars in the other hand and saying to the teller in slurred speech: "Two dollars to show on the favorite, my good man!"

Now that's living the good life.

You know I've told you before to take it down a few notches.DX,Chris,Triple Tea Bagger,TCM and Delyatta have told you your king of the forum.Yet you love to get into these silly arguments and pissing matches on purpose.Calling all da mooks a bunch of dummies doesn't help. What would you do in the Paddock room if somebody came up to you and got in your grill and called you out? I have met quite a few people from this forum and the chat room.Alot of posters are tough guys behind a key board. Some of these people don't play that game homie. They are the real deal. One of these days your probably gonna be knocked out with a vicious left hook your not even gonna see it coming. My suggestion is walk away, take a few days off on your own.Enjoy your life. Go see Les Miserables and sing along with the cast. You should enjoy that.
