Apparently our ever-vigilant forum watchdogs missed the MASSIVE CLICK-DOWN on the 8-dog in Santa Anita's first race on opening day . . . . sid figured there would be no end to the female doging-and-moaning on this board about this apparent (obvious?) past-posting.

Maybe because Lester's horse (Got Even lmao) got collared in the final fifty and finished second so nobody cared . . . . but this front-runner was a fat 9-1 when the gates crashed, then clicked down to 6-1 after opening a clear lead down the backstretch (final odds 6.90-1).

sid is not really a true believer in past posting or conspiracy theory - not much anyway - but this 'late click' was so obvious it does make a guy go HMMMMMMMMMM . . . .

There was a similar situation in the 2nd at Aqueduct yesterday - The 2 loads at 32-1, runs around the track and in what looked like a boat race, wins at 25-1.

I remember seeing the same thing Sid as the gates opened in the 1st race. Some pretty hard late action to drop that horse
down that low.
