Live Mounts at 26/1 and 13/1?

Is Bloker's $350 "donation" sponsoring Bednar's riding silks?

Turf Paradise is where he should have stayed at. He sure did impress at Del Mar, didn't he?

These guys are both underdogs to succeed. I would like nothing better than to see them get in the game. It's not going to be easy and I don't know Bednar but I do know Ty and I've had several conversations with him. If you know his story it is impressive to say the least. In other words he's had a lot of adversity to overcome and still have a positive attitude. I'm pretty sure that Ty will move up as time goes on and if he doesn't, at least he took a shot.

Not sure if it's good to see Vinnie set his sights on the SoCal circuit, but dude is way over his head.
Right now PM or EMD seem to be his level.

At DMR, dude talked a good game, very enthusiast, but was still O-fer, pretty sure he's ended up the same way since then

If Vinnie Bednar was put on Joe Talamo's next 1000 mounts and Joe won 20% or 200 wins. How many do you think Vinnie would win on? My prediction would be 185-190. So easy to knock a guy when he rides nothing but 50-1 crap. It's the horses not the jockeys. Don't know how many times I have to say it. IT'S THE HORSES!!!!

You actually think that Iggy Puglisi and Barrington Harvey could win 185-190? Let's get them both in the HOF while we're at it too.

I don't think Joe Talamo is an elite rider yet, I am not sure he is being used as an example on here specific to himself or to "any top rider." But if anyone on here thinks Vinnie Bednar or some guy like him is going to get 190 wins when Ramon Dominguez gets 200, I think the person who says that is absolutely nuts or intoxicated.

I would venture to say on the turf a new guy like Bednar for every 100 Dominguez turf wins, a Bednar would not get 5.

100 % yes. If Iggy or Barrington rode the same 1000 horses they would win 185 - 190 while Talamo, who granted is a better rider than those guys, would find a way to do something special in the other 10 to 15.

Your HOF rant is meaningless and has nothing to do with this thread.

Jury is still out on the on Dominguez' level of greatness. Very special indeed. Possibly one of the all time greats. Because of his ability as an absolute difference maker I'll lower the total on this one for Vinnie, Iggy and Barrington. If they rode the exact same 1000 horses as Ramon, with his high percentage, Ramon would win approximately 250 races. Those guys probably 220-225. I case you hadn't heard it's HORSE RACING.

Jerry Bailey's autobiography would clear everything up about jockeys. His observations about riding against Jose Santos
on the New York circuit were epic. Check it out but unsure if you mooks know how to read.
