Wow! A total of 97 horses entered in the 9 Saturday races at GoldenGatbytheBay......that's an average of 11.77 if my arithmetic is correct.

Check the #'s at BHP. Even better. That with only 4 lined up against Sister Queenie.

Holy cow!

Not too shabby on Sunday there either.

Hmmmmmm......understand one reason is because there will be a brief hiatus in California racing, but do you think if California races less often, it would be better in the long run?

Or would that piss off horsemen?

I vote running three days a week and simulcast all seven to keep the purses up, or is that a dumb idea?
