Nick gave our quite a few winners and angles to use through yesterdays card at the handicapping seminar at Santa Anita. Just wished I had showed up.

I hope I heard this correctly. It's my understanding that HRTV will soon be offering its entire programming on their website.
Just got an email about this, they are offering 24/7 programming on their website but it's not free. $9.99 a month, $49.99 for six months, $89.99 for 12 months. Special offer of $49.99 for 12 months if you sign up before end of the year.

I got the same email. I wouldn't watch it if it was free. I much prefer the TwinSpires track feed.

I didn't realize it wasn't free. I wish they had made that clear on television. On another list, where some of the people don't have the racing channels, I told them about the programming on the website. It never occurred to me that there would be a charge. I can understand if they're offering exactly the same thing online as on television, they'd want to charge, but I just wish they would have given more information. Maybe they did and I wasn't paying attention, who knows?...
One other thing about HRTV, and maybe this problem has only occurred in my area, but over the past week or so, the HRTV signal has flickered several times, and I've lost it briefly a few times. We got quite a bit of heavy rain the other day, and at times it's been a bit windy, but otherwise, the weather has been good. When I've seen this problem, I've turned to TVG and their signal is as strong as ever.

Not sure this was the same problem, but Alabama Football on Saturday (not CBS) was having sun spot issues for their satellite feed. It was raining, but somewhere there were sun spots causing brief outages.

I have been getting many instances of the picture breaking up quite often, on various channels. I record a lot of shows with my receiver and I see that during the playbacks. We go through these phases every year. Too much space junk floating around up there, maybe? Nah, I'm pretty sure it's just atmospheric conditions.

I noticed that TVG has changed their TV screen presentation. The odds at the bottom now have the saddle towel color on the number. HRTV has had this for years and IMHO it makes the screen look distracting. I prefer the old TVG screen with the numbers all having the same background color. Also...the MTP for each track now has a "TV" next to the races that they will be showing...that kinda helps if your expecting to watch a certain race.

I really like the new bottom screen for TVG. comes off more crisp to me.
