Ditto. Glad to see you back, Goof!

My picks: Rosario and Bejarano by number of wins. When you're hot, you're hot.

If you go by purse money won, I would add Gomez to the top three (if he doesn't go east on weekends), and possibly Mikey if Shirreffs keeps his talented ladies here on the Left Coast.

I believe Joel Rosario will be atop the rider standings when the meet concludes, he has a very proactive agent with an astute eye for live mounts that are ready to fire winning shots. ;)

Rosario is very, very good. My favorite jock. But Bejarano is in a league of his own.

LOL !!! Really , congrats on your tremendous success.. We'll have to start calling you honeymoon Vic, cause it's clearly not over yet ! That's 2 in years, no? Working in pairs seems to suit your style.

if talamo can get in some easy win barns ,I believe he will be leading rider....problem is most of his wins have to be earned no walk over because he got by far the best mount...but I will go with the upset talamo for me

DMJ:

I forgot to add Talamo.....he just needs one or two more strong barns and he's a player for sure. Since the meet is relatively short, it's always nice to get off to a hot start as well. It will be interesting to check the first week's standings to see if there are any surprises.

PVal

I'm thinkin he needs to come back here and show these kids who are sittin back and relaxing the first 4F a thing or two about a thing or two about a jock winning a race.
And remember...Things work out best when you make the best of the way things work out.

I'm going to be watching bug boy Reyes closely. If he catches on how to ride this track, he's going to get a lot of winners. The leading jocks, will be the 20% + guys, Rosario, Bejarano, Gomez, Espinoza.
Reyes could get in the top 4, but probably won't have 20%+. Like Vic posted Reyes will get a lot of the cheaper mounts, I'm betting enough of them will win, to maybe even show a positive ROI?
Of course, if this track is very slow, as in 2007.......he won't do as well, imho.
