I miss Greg Young at Northfield Park. The man had some epic race calls.

The best announcers are those that say my horse is "running like a tremendous machine" while the worst announcers are those that claim my horse "is having trouble keeping up" which is way too frequent imho.

I think Vince was referring to the calls made on the horses that he had bet on.

I understood that. However, no one had said in a race call " moving like a tremendous machine" since 1973. At least I sure hope they haven't.

I think somebody on Fox Sports used that term to describe the Rams during this past weekends win. Does the NFL count as a racecall? Could be a grass race :D

Vince probably hasn't heard that line since 1973 about a horse he has bet. It was the "having trouble keeping up" line that he kept hearing.
