Subtlety is not exactly the strong suit of some of the experts on this forum.

Glad you caught it.

I think that panthers pounce more often than stalk. A modern day panther would have caught and devoured Unstopper Topper

Funny you say that. I thought about that before the race. I decided if I was pretty sure he was going to win I would say "ready to pounce" if not as confident scale back to "stalking".

Either choice would be a good one Vic. Too bad your call was better than Northern Iowa's football season as they were 5-6
and 6th in the Missouri Valley Conference.

I am closing two real estate deals this week. Can I get an "atta boy?"

Vic Stauffer did an outstanding job yesterday. There was a total of 47 horses entered in the last four races. That includes 14 in the Derby field with a lot of shippers in unfamiliar silks. Mr. Stauffer didn't miss a beat in a challenging situation. My compliments to him for a job very well done.

Of course. That's terrific. Good for you!

It's never a bad thing to have someone say job well done.

Congrats.

Bunch of effing KIA's on this forum. Only place there are more KIA's under one roof is a Chatzy room. The Canadian Oil KIA's are the worst. :D

I for one appreciate when an announcer tries to add a little pizazz to the call. I have always been a big fan of Larry Lederman and his style. But as you well know regardless of how you call a race there will always be people who don't like it. I still laugh at the night you worked a "chillax" into your call after my request in the forum.

How about a "passion bucket" for Rick Neuheisel and Dan Patrick.
