anything close to that or as clever as that.

But... that's just entertainment, has nothing to do with the race. Goof's entertainment is to be enthusiastically involved in the race.

The fact that Michael can throw those clever quips into his calls spontaneously shows me his incredible wit and timing
that no other track announcer can match. Also his description of how race is run and his accuracy between lengths of
runners is unrivaled. I can find dozens of DMTC members that will attest that he is the best track announcer in the
States.

I enjoy his calls, no complaints. I can (and so can you) follow a race myself, I just use numbers and hope they are the same ones that are on my tickets. 8-)

Hollywood Park lists 3,533 as attendance.

Thought his "stalking like a panther" call on Northern Iowa in the 8th was very clever.

Hmmmm- I like all three callers mentioned and I am sure none of us have ever messed anything up at work. I like that Vic comes to visit the forum and think that most of the time he does a darn good job. Even with all the acolades given here - have Wrona or Trevor ever made an appearance?

Wrona was I believe but left the forum awhile back. Mary can confirm.

Not as much fun to give atta boys. Easier to judge, knock and hate.

So, you want us to give you an "atta boy" for something that you are supposed to do anyway (and paid to do as well)????

I don't " want " you to do anything.

I share my thoughts good and not so good just like anybody else on this forum.
