After this weekend and the results, one has to make several choices to play that track.

One can't play anything but one type of bet.

I learned one this in almost 40 years of horse racing, Don't play anything but one type of bet, if one is going to play a Ex or Tri. Pick you best race and go for it. If one is going to play a DD, chose your race, as to the pick 3, pick 4 or the Pick 5, Don't play a mickey mouse ticket, if one can't afford a decent ticket , Don't play, just play a straight bet. Nothing more.

Do, when one plays and chooses his races and want to play an Ex, tri, DD Pick what ever, go for it. Play the limit of the bet one can afford. Also look for 8-12 horse fields. Beyond that. One can't win unless one has inside info on the horse.

Why do people hit the big one's, they play to win, today and yesterday, HP had a few long shots the blew the hell out of most players and their money has gone down the drain. Today, T Baze did a number on a few long shots and so do Victor E.

People had these horses and hit the Pick 3 or the DD. why did they have them.

3 reasons

People spread their ticket and trying to hit the moon.

People go to the track with the owner to bet that horse.

People had inside info

Most players can't excess this information. So we must go for it. Yes will lose, also sometimes we laugh all the way tot he bank.

Overall to win at this game, and I have repeatably said this, get the odds in your favor and one will win overall.

Remember, one can beat a race, but one can't beat the races.

All I know is this, when I post the thread on him losing and Stein trying to force him to take a long shot , he change his style on what type of horses he is playing.


He is a great handicapper, and should be left alone to choose what he wants.
