In my version, Mr. S gets what he wants, but not in the way he wants it.

He gets the bulk of the major racing dates outside Del Mar, with Del Mar only adding a total of five days (two at the beginning and three at the end so the meet begins and ends on a Saturday in the case of Del Mar).

Santa Anita and Golden Gate have exclusive periods where only one or the other is running the rest of the year, the lone exceptions are overlaps on Derby and BC Weekends (closing of Santa Anita and beginning of Golden Gate in both cases) GG gets the lions share of the Hollywood Park stakes, though Del Mar gets a few.
