Re: What did you Learn from last weekend?I learned that when you flop a straight on an all spade board to tread lightly because the scumbag to your left might call your bet with his As and hit his nut flush on the turn..
Re: What did you Learn from last weekend?
I believe Greg Merson found that out against Jesse James Sylvia.
Re: What did you Learn from last weekend?I only tried one P3 (FAIL) but I kept trying tri's and Sup's. Went broke fast.
Thank God for the Federal Reserve. You can't have big government or big wars without them.
Re: What did you Learn from last weekend?I learned as TT has always said " if it is bet, they will take it".
Mr. Super Bowl
Ye without sin, in, this, business, cast, the, first, stone.
Re: What did you Learn from last weekend?I had a little too much learning but the one thought I took away is that if we can get enough guys like Jim Rome and his audience interested in the sport, we might be able to save horse racing.
Re: What did you Learn from last weekend?Don't underestimate any 9 year old horses . Also , can't believe that Trinniberg, The Lumber Guy, Smiling Tiger, Sum of the Parts super paid 50,000. Ten cent tri's the way to go if you are playing from home ( i will not play them on the machines live , as it pisses me off when other people do this to me). Also, do not put Raphael Bejarano on your horse. Still say he effed up the ride on Power Broker (either that or he bounced)
Re: What did you Learn from last weekend? From Vince I learned the correct way to pronounce Dullahan.
If wishes were horses then beggars would ride-
& If dirt were dollars we'd all be in the black
Re: What did you Learn from last weekend?
LOL! Will always be a huge, huge fan of Dullahan. Horses to Vince are like baseball teams, wives and dogs. You got them for life. As Led Zeppelin says, in Good Times, Bad Times. It's funny, I sat next to one of those Dullahan groupies and his wife on Saturday at the Breeders' Cup. Guy was the nicest Irishman in the world as are all Irish folks. We both agreed that when we die we will have our heads chopped off and used with/as Dullahans or whatever. For the record I put a sentimental and emotional $10.17 to win on Dullahan, not that I thought he'd win the Turd race - but just in case he miraculously did. On the other hand, I did tout him in the Derby - mainly because I had a sizeable future wager on him at 40-1. He ran a very nice suck up 3rd and would have won for fun had not his drunken jock (Desormeaux) taken him 17 wide. I also prophetically touted him like loving crazy in the Pacific Classic a month before that race.... viewtopic.php?f=4&t=14497&p=90067&hilit=dullahan#p90067 But if you can find where I touted Dullahan for HotY or in either of his last two Turd races I will send you a $700.00 voucher along with another trip to Tahoe with those same two Quackos. Vince P Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.
Avatar: My cuzin Isaac Murphy - a jock I'm tying to emulate in character and winning percentage - almost 47% lifetime.
