TVG taking shots at BC Ltd.

low and behold watching the races from Los Al on TVG and hearing them blast the BC for not letting them have coverage like they used to due to new NBC/HRTV contracts and then touting handle in three locals over the two days. This is exactly why I have my doubts they they will treat Santa Anita with due diligence. Whereas HRTV will with Hollywood Park, I will be shocked if TVG were to do the same with SA. Look at what they have become, they aren't even showing Australian races anymore and have no early afternoon content to show on Mondays and Tuesdays. They were all over Cal Expo this weekend and bumped everything besides Los Al off the menu.

weird thing is, they were touting Woodbine and Hawthorne's handle going way up on those days, yet didn't they also have those tracks exclusively last year?

I mean if those were new exclusives to the TVG stable then maybe yes I can see how it was them that caused the uptick, but they've already had those tracks exclusively for years.

I do think TVG drives a certain amount of handle, but I find it ironic how they are the ones who are responsible for the "exclusive" track BS, so they got what was coming to them. HRTV did a much better job on the inhouse signal than Paul LaDuca, Todd Schrupp and Simon Bray would have done, or have done in past years.

I always find it ironic how TVG's "A Team" includes probably the three least liked hosts they have, Schrupp, Laduca and Bray?

I think they are some very bad people over there running that operation. It is all about them 100% of the time, for them to pretend they are there for the game is insane. Kudos to the BC for dumping them. I know they serve a purpose, and without HRTV, TVG right now I think racing would be in deep deep trouble..but I just hope HRTV can get their hands on most of the content.

Plain and simple.HRTV Needs to somehow someway get on to Direct Tv.If they can get on Direct that would be huge.I just cannot give up DIRECT For Dish.They just have too much more sports for me then dish.
