What happened to the $182,000.00 of the guarantee?

Purse Guaranteed 2,000,000.00, Value of the Race: 1,818,000.00? That's an almost 10% difference. Why say the race has a guaranteed purse of $2,000,000.00, and then payout only $1,818,000.00?

The rest is made up of foal and stallion awards.
