Who's going to the BC ?Its always nice to know who's going and its always fun to meet new people from the forum and from that chat mookfest . Are you going both days ? Reserved seats or GA ? Dinner plans Sat. night ? No I'm not a detective, just curious. I feel last years BC was the best I have ever attended.SA and the BC did a wonderful job .We, "my financial advisor AG and I" plan on sitting GA again. Nice covered tables above the paddock. Once again I will not be charging for any of my picks, they are free of charge to anyone who needs them. The world famous blinking dice will be attending the BC.They have been in a safe deposit box since the Saratoga trip. As usual they worked their magic at Saratoga and I expect the same and much more for the BC.

Re: Who's going to the BC ?Now I'm really mad that I'm not going this year. I've never seen the blinking dice in person.

I agree 117+%, but I have some questions. Is the Breeders' Cup being held at the same venue as last year? Will the Breeders' Cup hold their second annual gala event in Toluca Lake this year? Is the Breeders' Cup track fake or real dirt? What if there is a PARADE in downtown LA right after the World Series - will that affect the horses? Vince P Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.

Re: Who's going to the BC ?WTF - am reading Brett Favre is scheduled to be one of the trophy presenters in the winner’s circle after the Classic - didn’t know he was a big race fan, interesting ! !

Re: Who's going to the BC ?Interesting is the word-
Since the Classic winner will probaly be retired right after the race, the presenter will be someone who will never retire. If wishes were horses then beggars would ride-
& If dirt were dollars we'd all be in the black
Re: Who's going to the BC ?
He just might change his mind! The wife and I are still deciding if Vegas is the way to go or live at Santa. She's never been to a live B.C. We're thinking Vegas would be a million times better for food and drink, as the B.C. people refuse to let you bring in anything(basically). Don't mean to sound "cheap" but free drinks vs. $7 or $8 or whatever they charge for beer and hot dogs is holding our decision up.
Re: Who's going to the BC ?
Seeing BC horses in the flesh beats free drinks & rooms IMHO. Santa Anita is great for getting up close in the paddock & makes the $8 beers all the more worth it if you ask me. Vegas isn't going anywhere, but the BC only comes once a year. Plus (and you didn't hear it from me), if you're stealth about it, all you need to order are $4 sodas to compliment whatever your flask holds. Avatar = SACRED LIGHT
Re: Who's going to the BC ?JD,
Go live - there ain't nothing like it. Vegas, imo, is for when you qualify in the NTRA or want a hooker or something like that. And since you're married, forgetaboutthat nonsense and enjoy the live races. Plus there's an In 'N Out joint about 1.17 miles from Santa Anita. At Santa Anita, you can pay $10 and sit on a bench 17 feet from the railing if you get there real early. I paid (cheap) for FANtastic seats last year but a buddy of mine did the freebie thing and it was an incredible deal with a great view. You can also bring in your own water and peanuts if you want...I think. At least last year I carried in a water bottle I was drinking.
