"Zayat Stables’ Pioneerof the Nile, winner of four consecutive graded stakes in 2009 and second in the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I), has been retired due to a soft tissue injury to his left front leg."

I bet on a horse at ten-to-one. It didn't come in until half-past five.
My horse was so late getting home, he tiptoed into the stable.

Well, if injury to a promising three year old was the way to identify a bad trainer. . .

The Pamplemousse Midshipman Friesian Fire Dunkirk I Want Revenge Old Fashioned Square Eddie Musket Man General Quarters (and I didn't even count Quality Road and his feet).

Sad, raced to hard to young as most. Don't they know if they take the time they would be better horses and last longer. :roll:
