Breeders' Cup, Ltd. must be breathing huge sigh of relief

It looks like Breeders' Cup, Ltd. is breathing a HUGE sigh of relief the BC is not at Belmont Park like many people in the east wanted this year. Looks like Hurricane Sandy may hook up with a front that is producing winter weather in some parts to create a MONSTER Storm:

The current projected path of Sandy according to The Weather Channel:

I'm sure BC Ltd. is going to use this as reasoning for not giving Belmont or Monmouth Park future BC, especially coupled with last year's freak storm that hit the northeast with snow on closing weekend of the Belmont fall meet.

might affect the handle (which will probably be down anyway to start). Besides if Belmont was hosting it would have been this weekend, where it is nice and sunny (Belmont was going to host next years BC until they withdrew). I never heard a good thing about the Monmouth BC, and I think (weather aside) it rubbed a few people the wrong way.
