Santa Anita's 7th race half mile fraction...is that a world record??

41.8 (4) also done in '08 BC Turf Sprint. Every horse on the front end in that race basically stopped once they came on the oval.

Today's race also had a 1:04.8 3/4 split, which might be a record.
