Jan Rushton a guest on TVG thursday

Jan Rushton was a guest on Thursday on TVG. Calling in from her new home in South Carolina. She said that her brother is doing good. She's his primary caretaker right now. She's semi-involved in horse racing by posting her picks for Nassau Downs OTB. She said that right now she's unlikely to return back to her position at NYRA. But, she did say that she was open to be used as a reporter or analyst for any of horse racing's biggest days. Any network. She's open. She said that she's not planning to return to horse racing on a full-time basis. If someone where to call her up she would work part-time and she said she's not ready full-time yet.

Jan is missed a lot. She's one of the best (along with Kurt Hoover).

Sure would be nice to get her to do the Breeders Cup.

Does anybody know why Kurt didn't work at Del Mar this season. Also, haven't seen him on HRTV at all for awhile now. I consider Kurt the best in the business and with Gary Seibel, the nicest and most giving individuals who will talk to the fans who come up to engage in a conversation about the races or the horse business in general.

I thought Kurt goes on hiatuis during the Del Mar and Fairplex meets. Then would work the Santa Anita, Oak Tree and Hollywood Park meets. I consider Gary Seibel one of the verstile analysts on TVG that could handicap standarbreds, thoroughbreds and quarter horses.
