I am behind on the news. Has it been announced that he will come over for the BC, or does the decision still depend on whether or not he runs in the 'Arc?
I bet on a horse at ten-to-one. It didn't come in until half-past five.
My horse was so late getting home, he tiptoed into the stable.

I try to look at the Racing Post each day but haven't seen it yet today. Usually look at the London Times online as well. I think the odds have been tossed around for some time, but this doesn't mean Sea The Stars is coming over, and are posted based on "if" he comes over. The Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe is still the goal for the horse, provided the turf doesn't come up too soft. Oxx takes it one race at a time, and the Arc is the next objective and is coming up pretty quick now (Oct 4).

If you've watched HRTV's "Pursuit of the Cup" over the past few weeks, you will also notice that in the Classic division, Jeff Siegel has Sea The Stars on top. To my understanding, as of now since I haven't seen any reports today, his BC trip is not definite. In fact, I would not be at all surprised if after the Arc, he's put away or has a rest before perhaps one more race which wouldn't be the BC. If however, the Arc doesn't work out, then the BC would be a large possibility. It's also possible that if he runs in the Arc and it doesn't take much out of him, he could also come over, but the Arc could be a very demanding race for the horse at 1 1/2 miles, against the highest level of competition.

I've been hoping for months that Sea The Stars runs in the Arc, and I'm certainly wanting good weather and a good surface which is not very yielding.

On paper. In an actual race, anything can happen.

I know that just in the last ten runnings only Ghostzapper (5/2) and Saint Liam (2-1) have won as favorites.

Before that, Skip Away (97), Cigar (95), A.P. Indy (92), Alysheba (88), Ferdinand (87) are the others. That's 7-25 (28%).

sea the stars is way way way better than the horse that embarrassed them last year.
