pick 6 clubIs there a pick 6 pool or club that anyone know's about that I can join? Obviously pooling money gives bettors a more realistic chance of hitting a nice one than to keep trying $64 tickets...if you know of one please let me know, also if anyone is interested in creating one I'm welcome to the idea...I figure 20 people w/ $300-400 each could be a good start...
Re: pick 6 clubWarning: A camel is a horse designed by a committee.
At least your $64 is played the way YOU want it played! That $$$ will get a pretty nice P4 and a better P3. Thank God for the Federal Reserve. You can't have big government or big wars without them.
Re: pick 6 clubI'll say this before anyone else does:
If you come across someone named "Titan", run as far as you can, as fast as you can the other way. Don't ask, just do it. There now we got the Titan reference out of the way ![]()
Re: pick 6 club
True...but the way I want it played keeps leaving me with 3 or 4 winners and alot of frustration because in some cases I know I could of had the other horses if I had $1000-$2000 to put in, but thats out of my price range...I think alot of us have had this experience. A guy at the Meadowlands had the only ticket last year in a total $3 million payout at Santa Anita...he chose to remain anonymous but did confirm his ticket cost was around $3600 and he did have 10 partners, I tried in vain to find out who this guy was and to try and get in his partnership...$360 turns into $300000 for each of the 10, don't get that payout with pick 4's......I'm guessing this titan thing was a major scam????
Re: pick 6 clubUsually you have one or two people 'handicapping' or putting the ticket together - 20 members aren't each going to get every horse they want on a ticket. You are saying that if YOU had bet $3,000 you would have had the winners that you didn't have at $64. Probably true. Where are your guarantees you get what you want with the group? I couldn't talk a small group into including a Ben Cecil horse shipping in from Ireland for a turf race. Small consolation that I bet the heck out of the horse at 6-1 and watched him romp.
I just make my requirement that I have three singles before I play. Doesn't lead to riches, but bet $36 cash $1,900 ain't bad. BTW, my biggest hit ever was $13,002 on a $1 pick 3 ticket @ $24. Next was 5 of 6 on a $128 ticket, $4,800 something. (This is called red-boarding!) Thank God for the Federal Reserve. You can't have big government or big wars without them.
Re: pick 6 clubwell, you always hear of the "syndicates" getting involved when there are carryovers...i'm just interested in who these people are and how one gets involved...
Re: pick 6 club
OK... Here's how we do it. Everybody puts 350 bucks and a list of selected horses and your phone number in an empty McDonalds bag, then put the bag in the trash receptacle at the grandstand concession stand just B4 the second race... Lucky thing here... Tomorrow (Friday) just happens to be the next group Pick Six at Fairplex Park' Now don't forget your phone number so we can contact you if need be.
Re: pick 6 clubhad 3 wins and 3 places today on 4 buck invest--but 8 horse at 33 dollars to win would have beat me on a 128 dollar fake ticket i had made up--SOOO ..my point is big tics do not alwats pan out--but your point is well taken if you could find 6 guys who could agree to a selection system,ie,start with a live long shot from each guys capping and then add three favs in each hole? i would then go along...just my opinion
