Mike has had a solid career no doubt. But I don't think you can say he's dominated both circuits.

No, Smith has never dominated the west coast. Smith has basically been a big money race jockey. You rarely see him on a favorite in a claimer or even an allowance race. Most of the time he's on a favorite it's in a MSW or Stakes race. 5,000 wins is a great accomplishment so taking nothing away from Smith. The only dominance he's had in the west coast is over Chantel. LOL
