I'll be hoping for the Brother too, Mitch. I think he belongs in the derby but I still question that last turf start. Hopefully he runs well, makes enough money and it won't matter.

Love this horse. The turf race was simply a prep for the SA Derby since he was off since late last year and the Futurity where he ran huge. I'm guessing a maiden two turn dirt race didn't fill? Who knows. This horse can run. Cassidy has been frigid which is concerning. I bet $200 at 75/1 at the Wynn for KY Derby just for action. Would be nice if he made it to KY Derby. Although i'm guessing he would need to run 1,2,3 to have enough earnings for KY.

Tony Matos must see it the same way regarding this horse. That's worth something.

It is peculiar, there appears to be very little early speed a week out from the race...

Maybe Baffert needs to reconsider sending Bodemeister out of town, but I'll Have Another or Paynter should ensure some pace for my predicted winner, Liason. :D

There may be a couple of surprise entrants...Holy Candy who recently lost to Stirred Up and then broke his maiden a couple of weeks ago. He may even have a shot in the SA Derby.

There was quite a buzz about this horse following his maiden win Vince, but I'm kind of skeptical of him right now. If you watch the replays of the horse that he ran down , (i think his name is Eaton Hall) last two races, he looked like he could not lose and just caved in approaching the wire. That said the horse looks talented but very quirky. He should have beat Stirred Up but looked like he pulled himself up when he made the lead and probably would have beaten Stirred Up if the race was a little longer.

My only future book bet is Holy Candy (150/1)

He is supposedly running in the Blue Grass.

The Blue Grass is coming up rather tough this year - much tougher than in the past....Hansen, Howe Great, Dullahan, Candy... I'm sure I'm missing some other decent ones.
