Congrats to Linda Rice for showing T Pletch how to win when it counts the most

On a side note, I read on another forum that Linda Rice has a small stable. I was thinking like 15-20 horses with her spotting the horses incredibly well, but my research showed me she has a stable roster of 78. WTF? When did 78 horses become a "small" stable?

Even if you took out all the horses with ZERO earnings you still have 50 horses in the stable. That still doesn't quantify it as a small stable, but WTFDIK?

I wasn't comparing Rice's stable to Asmussen's and Pletcher's. Every trainer has a small stable compared to those 2.

My point is you don't have 75 starters in a 6 week meet with a "small" stable unless you run the horses every other week.

now, the MINE THAT BIRD outfit is truly ,small--50 head for Linda is what EQUIDAILY said--we even have a few trainers here in NEB that do that --TAGG and G Weaver were plenty hot ,also.imho

linda rice is as good as they come, but her stats at saratoga are somewhat scewed because of all her ny breds, she trains all those horses off the same farm and they are geared for the saratoga meet.
