We can let Joel or Mary hold the tickets since we might not be around to collect.
Deal?

I dunno, Joel will still be talking bout Cielo Canosa and I'll be looking for a race in the fog somewhere with a good jockey, now those are memorable events!

Too bad Rachel didn't come out for today's Pacific Classic......I'm thinkin it'd be a whole different converesation today, no?

"...Um, the voting block consists of the following:
DRF
National Turf Writers Association
NTRA
While I guess the latter may have some members consisting of the connections 'peers', I'm guessing the former two have a large constituent of 'unwashed masses'...."

So 'peers' was a poor choice of words, perhaps a connotation meaning fellow owners / trainers. Sorry. But those voting are certainly more horse-friendly than
Rolling Stone, PETA and Horse Slaughter Monthly.
America must have the highest "goofs per capita" rating of any nation outside Antarctica.

Listen folks, people were sobbing where they stood. The roar of the crowd was heard an entire mile away. An incredible track record was shattered (Lawyer Ron). If you don't understand this accomplishment or don't appreciate it, then I'm afraid you don't grasp the nation-wide grip this HOY filly has on the sport.
