worlds champion quarterhorse trainer, trained 23 champions
1st trainer in history to make $100 million in purses
18 breeders cup winners most in the world
13 triple crown races tied for most in history
won the triple crown two years in a row

optimizer will be less than 15to1 in the kentucky derby

I didn't know that DWL was running in the Kentucky Derby. Must be in great shape to be running a mile and a quarter in around two minutes.
Dude is a HAS BEEN. His body of work of course is hall of fame. But right now is just hanging on a ledge with Pletcher, Asmussen, Motion,
Baffert and others all stomping on his fingers.

Ah come on, you know after he almost lost his only child Jeff he backed away from the high-level, high-pressure world he was living in.
If a horse comes along that he thinks can do it he will certainly go for it. How long did it take Pletcher to win a TC race? He was loading
5 horses into one race and not winning. We all know that great horses makes great trainers. Lukas trained a nice group of currently top trainers also.
Wasn't very long ago that Baffert was 'washed-up'.
Thank God for the Federal Reserve. You can't have big government or big wars without them.

no such thing as a washed up horse trainer, they arent like baseball players or football players, if jack van burg had the same horses todd pletcher has he would have a better winning % because he is simply a better trainer than todd pletcher will ever be. steve assmuffin rarely even goes near horses so how is he a good trainer?

He obviously has good horsemen under him and delegates duties over the phone. Delegation is a key to success..

Jack would never go through the shiat that Todd does with today's pampered owners like Repole. I give credit to Todd to be able to tolerate these
primadonnas that he trains for. These internet billionaires that have turned to horse ownership are the hardest to please.

He's in charge and accountable for his stable so he is the trainer and has to face the music if anything shows up questionable.

Totally exaggerated! You have no empirical proof. Percentages are a joke!!!!! My guess would be:
85% horse
10% trainer
5% jockey

No one knows for any certainty.
