Matron, Irish Champion Stakes - Video

Two great races this morning at Leopardstown. Whoever is interested, but didn't watch, I won't give the outcomes away, and hopefully TVG will have the races on later, perhaps on "The Finish Line".

All I'll say is awesome!

I've edited this post to add the Youtube link for the Irish Champion Stakes. The Matron Stakes isn't available yet.

Cool, thanks, RS. His trainer said this is the biggest margin StS has won by yet. Very nail-biting runner.

It looked like the were running the right way 'round (right way for US racing, I mean). I wonder if they have any thoughts of the BC in mind for him? Although he is probably due some R & R.

PS,

Oxx is taking it one race at a time. Sea The Stars is now being pointed for the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp on October 4. It all depends on the ground. It has to be good for the horse although the Leopardstown track was good to yielding but Oxx was satisfied with it.

The Breeders' Cup is on the back burner, probably the Classic if they come over, but again, they're only focusing on the next race.
