Just watched Diamond Fury race at Sacramento Fair for 4K, finished last. Must have been privately sold.

This is the pretty chestnut (Sea of Secrets)that sold at Barrett's to Charles Fipke for $2.7million in 2003(trained by Baffert). Kinda sad. He sure would make a nice riding horse, hopefully someone will claim and retire him to something he might enjoy better than racing.

That is kind of sad. I remember seeing a workout for him this year and thinking "haven't they given up yet?"

I think he had some talent but obviously a lot of physical problems and you're probably right, he just doesn't want to do this.
