Got me thinking as to why money is sometimes refered to as samolians-

http://www.funtrivia.com/askft/Question13812.html

SIMOLEON first appeared in U.S. slang around 1896, and refers to one dollar. There may be a connection between 'Simoleon' and the Napoleon, a 20 franc French coin issued by Napoleon Bonaparte in the early 1800s. A reference is also made to the 'simon', British slang for sixpence, in the 17th century. In the late 19th century inflation caused the simon to refer to a dollar. The Word Detective goes on to say that perhaps Simoleon is a combination of 'simon' and 'Napoleon', originating in New Orleans, where French currency was still common at the time.

To the racing Gods...please CO @ Saratoga one more day...FFC, AG, Sluggo ,and Miss Lippy will be on track Sat.Please let us take that baby down on track. How ironic would be that we travel 8700 miles from Toluca Lake to Saratoga and take down a record East Coast Pick 6. I promise to give everyone I've ever made fun of, teased, called names, said I would snap their neck like a piece of celery etc...They will get 100.00 each. That will leave me a little over 2500.00. I promise DM and Toga I will sponsor a stakes race every year..Called The Mook FestivaL Stakes. I also will donate 500.00 to Mary's favorite charity. I'll even bring my celebrity friends to DM in 2010. I'll even pay for Cnak to get some anger management classes. Ok God, just if you can find it in your heart of hearts for a Goomba like FFC,from the Southside, Bridgeport, 31st Halsted ... it would be appreciated.

Fredo,

I read Steven Crist's blog on DRF.com and 2 people told him the sequence is "impossible." Not my words, their words. Take that for whatever it is worth...
