MATT CAROTHERS TICKETHMMMMMMMMMM...I wonder who Matt was referring to when he showed his pick 6 ticket on the air today......
I suppose he's tired of all the bashing about TVG analysts "not betting with their money what they post on air." Good job MATTIE !!!!!!
Re: MATT CAROTHERS TICKETI didn't see it, but I'm assuming he had an actual ticket purchased at the track.
Hmmmm, seems like the radio guy will probably take a shot at him for not paying the quarter and betting through his TVG account, just a guess on the breaking news of the day he'll share. And remember...Things work out best when you make the best of the way things work out.
Re: MATT CAROTHERS TICKETI saw a ticket he showed on 58 flat, it was an $80 P-4 for Saratoga, his on air ticket was either $50 or $60 I'm pretty sure
I've talked to him at DMR & EMD, seen him running around between commercials/breaks to play tickets with his own money
Re: MATT CAROTHERS TICKETI cant tell from this post, did he win the P6 ?
Re: MATT CAROTHERS TICKET
For some reason I turned over to :58 flat & saw the ticket too, & Matt was a little aggravated about people accusing him of not betting his tickets. And yes, it was for $ 80 as he pointed out a horse in the last leg ( forget who ) he had added from his on air ticket. If wishes were horses then beggars would ride-
& If dirt were dollars we'd all be in the black
Re: MATT CAROTHERS TICKETDoes the dude contemplate whether or not he should leave his house in the morning? From what I get, he sincerely cares about what online forum members post about him as if it has a huge bearing on his life. I'm no expert, but if you let other people you don't even know bother you enough to do something to prove them wrong, then you need some help. A lot of help.
Re: MATT CAROTHERS TICKET
Matt could have impersonated a stooper just to make a point.
Re: MATT CAROTHERS TICKETI loved Matt C's rant about Saratoga's feature.
He was complaining about how the feature race had 3 of the 9 horses scratch even though the Turf is firm. The feature is an overnight stake worth $70K at 5.5 Furlongs. Then he actually asks aloud, "why even run the race"? Do you really think Saratoga thought there would 3 scratches in the race? You really think they like going Hollywood Park on everyone with 6 horse fields? But he fails in this argument because on August 26th at Del Mar a similar situation occurred. A field of 10 was drawn for the 8.5 Furlongs Turf feature, an overnight Stake worth $85K. Only 6 horses ended up competing in that race. Doesn't Del Mar have a Firm Turf 99.9% of the time? Why is it OK for 4 scratches in a feature at Del Mar, but 3 at the SPA is a crime? Pot meet kettle. Instead of berating NYRA for allowing trainers to scratch out of a race for whatever reason, focus on the problems in your own backyard. Last I checked NYRA didn't have to go 4 day weeks in their most recently completed meet, cutting all but one Monday from their premier meet, and they don't have complaints about their Synthetic tracks.
