He's a Summer Bird

But is he a Fall Bird?

I think that depends if Summer Bird can run on a synthetic surface, which I just came to find he hasn't. But today he ran a great race on the slop. They were saying that the Belmont Stakes winner has won the Travers 30 times, and I got to thinking about the Belmont winner shortening from 12 furlongs to 10. It seems very logical that he'd win this one, especially being a Birdstone.
