All's I'm saying is that jockeys do bonehead things every race, every day at every track.
They didn't earn their "size 3" reputations overnight or because of one Jordanesque move.
Some of the better ones.....Chris Antley darn near did it in a triple crown race waving that #1 finger to the crowd, remember DWL saying he would have put that finger in a glass jar of formaldehyde back at the barn if he had gotten caught at the wire.
Then there's current crowd favorite Calvin Borrail who stops riding in the stretch, shifts around in the saddle so the cameras can capture a Kodak moment, he's done everything but fall off. It will be little surprise someday when the horse overreacts and who knows what bad thing will eventually happen.
And this doesn't even address the jocks that don't have a clock in their head, or the ones that move for a hole that's moving faster than they are, the ones that drop their whips or fail to listen to instructions about not using the left hand, there are plenty of mistakes that don't get punished, I'm not sure how the stewards can pick on this one alone?
I think the industry has a way of policing itself for the likes of a Jordan.....mounts will be hard to come by and the prices will be refelected on the board of her abilities, isn't that what the game is all about?
And remember...Things work out best when you make the best of the way things work out.
