Vallenzeri on the worktab

Postby Pointgiven3 » Thu Aug 27, 2009 9:40 am

The much hyped 2 yr old colt Vallenzeri (AP Indy o/o Azeri) posted his first offical work this morning at Del Mar. He went 4f in 48.20. Can't wait to see this guy run. Hopefully he has the talent of both his sire and dam.

They'd probably settle for one or the other. ;)

He's really powerful-looking. Seems very mature in the body. If he can run to his physique....

FYI

Hip 81 in the upcoming Keeneland Sept. Yearling sale is a filly by Giants Causeway out of Azeri.

I've seen some pictures of her and she is a doll baby. Resembles Mom a lot.

Victor Espinoza has first call on most of Bafferts big dogs(allegedly)
Garrett Gomez turned down some major players in last years Derby run to stay with this barn:

My guess is that one of these two guys will get the call for V's baby race
and then it's a Derby run from there...
Can't wait to see who it is.

Has the future book opened yet?
