Question about Great Producing Mares??????

Let's not forget Dear Birdie. She was the dam of Bird Town and Birdstone. They both won graded races in 2003.

I didn't keep the article but I found an introduction to it that says since 1973 there were 38 broodmares that had two or more runners win grade/group I races in the same year. The article is from the Feb 7th, 2004 issue of the Bloodhorse.
