Don't care about 'every' jock. Just like knowing that Mike is concentrating on his mounts and not distracted with personal issues. Somethin' wrong with that?

The Sutherland / Smith drama on Jockeys got old FAST. The editing is awful enough. Hopefully they don't go down the soap opera road this season.

is a fascinating interview, she's very well spoken - this caught my eye though, know perfectly well horses don't have a conscience but do DOGS or is that just her way of explaining horses being more dangerous, although personally think that's just because of their size .. am serious lol, don't think my heathen dogs have a conscience at all....

RADAR ONLINE: Another part of the job is bonding with horses. What are horses like?
Chantal: I think that’s a really good question. Horses are really cool animals. They want to please you but they don’t have a conscience like a dog. Like, if they were to hurt you, they don’t feel bad. They don’t have a conscience that way but they remember your affection and they remember your smell. Horses are competitive. I never get mad at them because even if they lose or if they’re last, it’s really not their fault. They’re amazing animals and I love them, but they are very, very dangerous. They other day, I was in the gate and one of them just freaked out and she hit me in the top of the gate. I got stuck there and she slammed me, so I had 1200 pounds between my legs and my saddle cut me. I had to go to the hospital and get stitches.

Not sure about dogs -- they certainly do tend to look really guilty when they've done something bad. I can guarantee you though, that and his feline ilk have absolutely no conscience.

dogs do tend to look guilty and cats just look flat-out defiant, but personally think the guilt look is just academy award worthy acting on their parts... am wondering if chantal didnt have a little twinkle in her eye when she said that and the reporter didnt pick up on it lol...

Mike sounds insecure if he can't discuss "shop talk" with Chantal without getting upset. Of course, the interview is only from her side.

I wonder if either of them are sorry for (as my grandmother would say) "airing their dirty laundry" on a TV show.

If his goal is to get married and have children, and her goal is to further her career as a rider (which is not compatible with pregnancy), then they aren't compatible. It's sad, but I hope they both find peace and happiness in the future. From the article, it sounds like Chantal is looking at other guys.
