In my opinion,the best apprentice by far in North America was JJ Gonzales,the same JJ who got me out today in the last at 14-1. I am not sure if he was injured,or took time off.But he is back now with bug intact and will make a huge splash the rest of the Gulf meet.Watch him,because he is the next big apprentice from Calder in the same vein as Coa,Castellano,Bridgmohan,Paco,Saez,Cruz etc.
