Looks like they did it again for Pacific Classic Day..

DEL MAR ---- Authorities arrested 11 people on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and issued 43 citations Sunday afternoon in a coordinated operation involving several agencies to coincide with the Pacific Classic of the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club racing season.

Officers with the San Diego, Coronado, Chula Vista, Oceanside police departments and the Sheriff's Department paed the cities of Del Mar, Solana Beach and Encinitas looking for drunken drivers, said sheriff's Sgt. Jason Rothlein.

The officers made 298 stops and conducted 67 field sobriety tests during the operation, the sergeant said.

I will say it here before it happens.On closing day they will do the same thing becuse of the party in the paddock,.They have done it last year and the year before so heads up to anyone on here who might be going to the party or track that day....
