Your average DUI is around $3,500 dollars , then your car insurance stops after conviction, then one goes into the high risk category of The Insurance company. When it is over, one has a big OUCH and wishes he never did it. As the old saying goes, NEVER DRINK AND DRIVE.There is not a member here who hasn't seen or heard or had a friend or family member killed or hurt by a drunk driver. A public and a Lester safety announcement.

The City Of Del Mar must LOVE the extra income generated by certain days. I'm sure the next date on the calendar with the big red circle is the day of the Ziggy Marley concert.

It's kind of like what Willy Sutton supposedly said (although he later denied it) about why he robbed banks: "Because that's where the money is."

He was trying to sell it out of the trunk of his car when the fuzz showed up. Word was, they had been tipped off by "an anonymous blonde woman." Nature Boy whipped out a couple of Zenyatta pictures and tried to bribe the gendarmes, but no dice. Now he's been featured on two TV shows, "Jockeys" and "Cops." Bad Nature Boys, Bad Nature Boys, whatcha gonna do? Mary MMM

and Shoemaker probably felt the exact same way when he climbed in his Bronco II on that ill-fated day after playing golf and heading home while being "just a little bit over" - am sorry MS got caught, but in the long run maybe it's for the best ...
“I was driving on my home road down here, which is dark, and I got pulled over, and I blew a little over,” Smith said Thursday afternoon. “It wasn’t like I was going 100 miles per hour, or being reckless. I was going a little over the limit on my home road.”

I wonder if Laffit will be representing him in court.

Hey it worked with the Stewards, so why not give it a whirl ? I sure hope this doesn't put the match race in jeopardy.

any updates? I remember seeing in an online reviw of the track that this was going to be happening, I guess it just kind of passed my mind. I sure hope the race is still good to go, people online were freaking out about how great it is. Do you guys know what I am talking about with the reviews, this whole angies list thing?
