TURF COURSE. The infield Turf Course will be open for workouts on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. Only those horses preparing for specific races will be allowed on the course. Maidens are not permitted to work on the turf. Permission must be obtained from the Racing Secretary. Ponies will not be permitted on the Turf Course (unless approved by the Racing Secretary). Trainers must request turf works at least one day in advance.

Same as for regular workout. Park in the main lot -- Solana Gate entrance is closed during works. (Parking charge applies unless you get here before the lot attendants do.)

Walk in. There should be a sign directing you. Basically, you watch from in front of the grandstand.

On Sundays, you can watch and have breakfast at Daybreak at Del Mar -- http://www.dmtc.com/season/events/index.php?id=5

Is there a reason horses are not working on the turf course yet?

Actually, no. There were works on the turf this morning. Page 2 of the workout report.

My favorite time of year fellow race lovers, aside from May that is due to the Derby. Hey I was wonder, because I did find this track through an online search, if you guys have done some kind of work managing your reputation online? I browsed through a few review sites and was surprised how much positive information was shared about Del Mar. Have you guys ever heard of Angie's List, for online reviews?
