Del Mar needs to get the Polycam up and running now, so we can watch the renovation. And the gardner in me wouldn't mind having the Paddock-cam up so I could watch that transformation too!

Speaking of webcams and good uses for them, why not have one located right near the entrance to the Clubhouse and TurfClub on opening day?

Okay, Gang -- the PolyCam and the Paddock Cam are both back -- you can watch our guys take on the heroic task of turning a fairgrounds back into a race track. (The grass in the paddock was absolutely gorgeous before the fair started.)

The paddock area looks so bare (and burned). Kudos to the grounds crews for always making that area so pretty every year. But I have a feeling we are going to see some "grass painting" . . . . yes?
