Ten fillies and mares have been nominated to tackle reigning filly and mare champion Zenyatta in the highly anticipated Grade I, $300,000 Clement L. Hirsch Stakes Sunday, August 9.

Trainers Barry Abrams and John Sadler have nominated a pair each. Abrams’s nominees are Hot n’ Dusty and Lethal Heat, while Sadler offers Dawn After Dawn and Dawn Before Dawn.
The other nominees: Anabaa’s Creation, trained by Julio Canani; Briecat, trained by Vladimir Cerin; the Doug O’Neill-trained Champagne Eyes; Richard Mandella’s Patricia’s Gem, and Tidal Dance, trained by Peter Eurton.
